1. Introduction

Welcome to PrepLab. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any other related applications or platforms (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Services Description

PrepLab provides tutoring services in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Our services include one-on-one tutoring, matric exam preparation, and emergency sessions. All tutoring sessions are subject to tutor availability and scheduling. All sessions are to be held virtually.

3. Booking and Cancellation

When booking a session through our Service, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Confirmed bookings are subject to our cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund or rescheduling option.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost.
  • No-shows will be charged 75% as we value and respect the time invested by our tutors.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for tutoring services is due at the time of booking or before the session takes place. We accept only EFT as form of payment. All prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect already confirmed bookings. All students are required to send a proof of payment to the tutor before the session starts.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when using our Service
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any account information
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be respectful and professional during all tutoring sessions
  • Not use our Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and educational materials, are the exclusive property of PrepLab and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Materials provided during tutoring sessions are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our explicit permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

PrepLab and its tutors strive to provide high-quality educational services, but we cannot guarantee specific academic results or outcomes. Our Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

In no event shall PrepLab be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
